We welcome our southern friends for Round 3 of the RX Automotive Sprint Series to what will also be the BMW Clubs Australia Nationals Super Sprint.
This is a great opportunity to experience one of Australia's iconic tracks. The 2.4 km Lakeside Park circuit has something for everyone with its fast sweeping or tight uphill corners and undulations, all combining to offer a wonderful handling layout, all in the company of your fellow club mates.
You will require a current RACERS licence to drive at Lakeside. A link to the licence application plus a guide to preparing your car and yourself will be provided upon registration.
Lakeside Park operations are subject to strict noise limits. Vehicles must be below 95db to proceed onto the race circuit.
Our track days are open to all levels of driver from novice to experienced track drivers, BMW Club members or not, BMW and Non-BMW drivers alike. Both road and dedicated track cars allowed.
As well as our members gaining points in the RX Automotive Sprint Series, there will also be trophies on offer for the Nationals Super Sprint. You never know, you may take home a nice trophy. Note: There is an additional $30.00 entry fee (separately invoiced) for the Nationals Super Sprint competition and you must be a financial BMW Club member entering a BMW.
As usual, our morning track walk with one of our experienced drivers showing the correct way to approach driving the track, will be happening in the morning before we are on track.
In the interest of giving our attendees the best experience and enjoyment at our track days we have decided to make attendance at these track walks mandatory for all novices, but also highly recommended for all levels of driver. As usual there will be passenger rides available at lunchtime, some restrictions apply.
Don’t delay and enter early to avoid disappointment, like usual, it will be popular.
As a way to put back to our faithful supporters, we have kept entry costs low at just $180 for a full day of track fun for all BMW Club members and our affiliated clubs. More than one person can share an entry. If you are double entering a car (2 complete entries), please let us know for grouping purposes.
