QUEEN MARY FALLS
SOCIAL DRIVE
SUNDAY, 3 APRIL 2022
Meet: Puma Citiswich. Coffee/breakfast/fuel available.
Time: Meet at 8:30 am for 9:00 am departure.
The Drive: It's a lengthy one - make sure you have plenty of fuel.
The first stage will take us to Lake Moogerah for morning tea and a comfort stop. Coffee etc. is available at the cafe or BYO.
We'll then head off along scenic and windy roads to Queen Mary Falls with a short stop at Carr's Lookout for great views of the head of the mighty Condomine River and Mt Superbus, the highest mountain in SE Qld.
The drive will finish at the falls picnic area. There are tables and seats available here but BYO picnic blanket, chair(s) just in case. BYO picnic lunch or grab some take-away from the nearby cafe.
After lunch, take one of the walks to stretch your legs and view the falls.
Complete the day with a run home through Warwick or take the shorter scenic route to the Cunningham Highway via Killarney, Emu Vale, Yangan and Freestone.
