BMW Club Qld is made up of car enthusiasts brought together by one of the world’s greatest motoring companies. The club is made up of car owners and admirers, not just BMW owners.

BMW Club Queensland is much more than a car club: we’re a community. It doesn’t matter if you own the latest, coolest or cleanest car. The BMW Club is open to everybody, no matter what car you drive.

Constitution

Code of Conduct

The club also has a Code of Conduct, which is a set of guidelines setting out how members of our club are expected to behave, so that the club is always promoted as a responsible organisation. Members are reminded that if they bring guests to our events, those guests are perceived by the public to be Club members, and are therefore expected to behave as such.

As a Motorsport Australia affiliated club, BMW Club Queensland Incorporated carries the following insurance coverage:

  • Public and Product Liability with Professional Indemnity to the following value:
    • Public Liability – any one occurrence $100,000,000
    • Products/Pollution Liability – any one occurrence and in the aggregate $100,000,000
    • Professional Indemnity – any one occurrence and in the aggregate $10,000,000
    • Volunteer workers insurance for members up to 85 years of age. Members who are greater than 85 years of age are still able to be insured, (Motorsport Australia notification required).
  • Event coverage for any Social / Non-Competitive Activities (Motorsport Australia notification required):
    • Non-competitive activity
    • Social club runs – Picnic Runs, Night Runs (members and trial members only – no general public)
    • Club Show and Shine / Display Day / Concourse (members and trial members only - no general public)
    • Swap meets (members)
    • Event coverage for Motor Sport Activities (Motorsport Australia permit required).
